I am a 2006 graduate of the University of Maine, Orono. I have a B.A. in English and a concentration in Creative Writing. I have no formal job experience, although I have been trying (unsuccessfully)  to "get my foot in the door" at several newspapers and publishing companies. I am trying to break into the world of writing and build up my resume. My goals are to become a respected and accomplished writer. I love writing in general, and would provide news stories on society, art, culture, and anything interesting. I believe that as a young adult, I can provide a fresh perspective on issues today.
