Anne Howard, is a public relations veteran and a writer with accounts in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal. She is currently working with various clients in the entertainment industry and corporate america as a publicist and also as a writer. She is also the founder of RushPRnews , a newswire service recognized by Google News.
From 1996 to 2000, Anne worked as an a Senior Account Executive, Media Specialist, at Shandwick New York. First in the consumer group, moving to the Hi Tech and the industrial practice in February of 1998, where her expertise in media relations was greatly emphasized.
Prior to moving to New York City, Howard worked for the Group Columbia managing all media relations for the Vth International Aids Conference and oversaw the logistics for an international economic summit which was attended by the former Chancellor Helmut Kohl, then President Francois Mitterant and former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. She completed her studies in Communications at Concordia University in 1987. She is fully bilingual in English and French, written and spoken. She spends her time between Northern California and Montreal where she is an active member of both communities.
She is a writer of fiction, poetry, short stories and is presently rewriting (again) a screenplay.
