Cristy Gimbel, originally from El Paso, Texas, is currently a student at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Right now she is interning at the ABC affiliate in El Paso and putting together her second documentary. At Northwestern, she is the current Special Assignments Producer for the Northwestern News Network.

Though her primary focus is in broadcast, she loves other forms of media as well. She was one of the founding members of ¡Ahora!
