I am a full-time graduate student in WCSU's online writing program.
Along with my writing experience as a newspaper reporter and editor of a non-profit print newsletter, I created and currently administer an online newsletter for Western Connecticut State University, along with a personal website.

For the next year I'll live in Innsbruck, Austria, where I plan to write travel articles and complete a fiction book for my thesis. My main goal, as always!, is to improve my writing.

Flying High in the Alpine Sky - Despite the Alps` popularity among hard-core athletes, the mountains offer a variety of experiences for all levels.

Where You're as Good as Your Word - The vendor is nowhere in sight, but his handmade sweaters and glass ornaments still hang from a rack in the middle of the cobblestone street.

Through a Ski Jumper's Eyes - It's a well known fact that the city that played host to the winter Olympics twice has a working ski jump, however, Innsbruck, Austria, takes it one step further.

A Taste of the Alps - This morning the mountains disappeared in a move out of an Alfred Hitchcock film. In their place hung a thick cloud of mist. A dim shadow reached partway up the horizon, a hint of what lie beyond the fog: towering Alps that encircle Innsbruck, the capital city of Tirol, Austria.

Oktoberfest 2006: A Ma of Fun - Number of roasted oxen eaten: 102. Number of beer liters sold: 6.1 million. Number of injuries caused by flying beer steins: 61.
