David Richardson

At 15 I was walking the streets of NYC.

At 20 I was walking the streets of LA.

At 23 I went to college and got degrees in both Lit. and Phil.

At 25 I became a bartender.

At 40 I created a litrerary website.

At 43 I decided to try and get my poems noticed.

I have a son who is now 15, and is absolutely my best friend.

I read way too much.

And I pain over things I shouldn't.

My website is: www.literaryrags.com

Simpatico - She erects statues in her mind

Poem: Maybe - I thought I knew the color of roses, until I saw the side of your face.

Soul: Our lives present themselves in such different ways - Our lives present themselves in such different ways. But our souls give themselves away, somehow, on beautiful days.

Bartender - I spend my wrought iron time

Winter, The Sea, and My Soul - Reflections of the sea in winter, the sea as mesmerizing refuge, the sea inside and the poet who we recognize.
