I am currently a Senior Mass Communication major at Campbell University. I am currently a student writer with the Office of Public Information where I research and write stories and press releases. Those stories are featured in The Campbell Magazine and in The Raleigh News&Observer. I also am the lead Entertainent reporter for The Campbell Times. I have written about different events happening on campus as well as critique plays in the area. I am the public announcer for the different Campbell sports teams as well as a promotions assitant. I am a shift manager and announcer for 90.1 FM Radio station and have also announced for Oldies 107.9 radio station. I have interned in Greenville, NC with WNCT Sports team where I have associate produced packages, shot,edited, and written stories. I have also interned with ABC NewsOne a division of ABC News in New York City. I was the producer for New Music Tuesday, an associate producer and researcher for several stories. I also produced several Money and Medical Minute Segments and learned digital editing. I have taken PR, JOurnalism, and Broadcasting classes. My goals are to be a correspondent at the 2012 Olympics, be a reporter eventually on a morning news show, freelance write for papers and magazines and event plan.
