My curiosity is vast and for the first two years of college education I explored sign language, environmental science, rhetoric, and even became Emergency Medical Technician " Basic certified to get a glimpse of the medical field. Before I knew it, journalism encompassed all these subjects. The field investigates cultures, communities, and organizations. Even better, journalism creates an opportunity to share information by compiling data from interviews, statistics, history and distributing information with creativity only containing the facts.

Even though the field of journalism is experiencing drastic changes I am excited to grow and keep up them. I work for the Daily Illini Features section and they offer training in video editing that continues next semester. I am currently reading a book about online publishing and taking photography.

For this summer, 2009, I am looking to dedicate my complete time and focus on a journalism internship. I work well with a team and will provide versatility, dedication, listening, and have an aspiration to learn.
