The Rev. Leeman A. Place, is a retired Hospital Chaplain. Most of his life was spent in the business world. At the age of 50 he was called into ministry and three years later he graduated from Perkins School of Theology @ Southern Methodist University in 1994, with a Masters Degree in Theology. His first position was at the Veterans Hospital in Dallas, Tx. as a domilcilary chaplain for homeless veterans. This experience led him to seek more training as a Pastoral Care Specialist in Clinical Pastoral Education at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Florida. After 2 years of post graduate training, Rev. Place served as the first staff chaplain at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Hollywood, Florida for 4 yrs. Rev. Place devoted 2 years of ministry as an interim minister for local UCC churches. Later he served as a Chaplain Consultant for 3 yrs at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Florida where he and his wife Philomena know reside.

Rev. Place was written many articles and programs for the healthcare industry involving Anger Management, Death & Dying process, and End of Life Issues. Rev. Place was ordained in the United Church of Christ, Jensen Beach, Florida. and continues to write articles for various organizations.

Homosexuals in the Bible - For many weeks now, I have been pondering the comments made by prominent individuals regarding the subject of homosexuality.

Prayer Changes Things - The Bible is riddled with examples of God"s healing grace, or so it seems. What if I told you it was not God"s perfect will to heal us.
