Gulienne Rollins

State:  Massachusetts

College:  Boston College

Major:  Journalism

Contact Information: gulienne.rollins@bc.edu

Gulienne is a biracial college sophomore who is interested in starting a publishing company, with one main magazine to start off with, once she graduates from Boston College.

Gulienne penned for her newspaper in middle school and was the Newsletter Editor at an organization in Roxbury, Massachusetts this past year.  This year, she is the Newspaper Editor for the AHANA Leadership Council, which is a part of the Undergraduate Government of Boston College.

Gulienne would like to provide the world with news stories of all types as well as some editorials.  She would like to focus on race relations in the Northeast to begin with, and branch out to other subjects and areas.

She is looking forward to this internship to develop her writing and journalism skills, as well as giving her a taste of meeting deadlines and what it's like to work on a magazine.
