S. Renee Greene is a former news clerk for the Columbus (GA) Ledger-Enquirer. She is currently a locally-celebrated poet, author, writer and journalist and has written several books, including a biography, "In My Skin" and "The United States of Georgia," a book about the campaign dealings and election of President Barack H. Obama in the home state of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. exactly 40 years after King`s assassination.
