Tameka Bankhead

Tameka Bankhead is originally from the Detroit, Michigan area and recent graduate of the University of Michigan in Dearborn. U of M is where she obtained her B.A.  in Communications with a focus on Journalism. She thrived while under the employ of Americorps as a group facilitator. She implemented a five-step literacy plan for students there. Upon completing her requirements she plans to pursue graduate studies in Business.

Tameka would like to publish compelling articles that provide insight into the lives of people.

However her dream career consist of critiquing music. 

Tameka has been published in the Detroit News. In the future Tameka would like to work as an editor of a multicultural magazine.
