Tanicia enjoys writing every day. She is a senior at Florida International University and her major is print journalism.  Her dream is to one day become a published fiction writer.

She has written a couple of fiction pieces, one of which she is very proud of.  Recently, she worked undercover as homeless person to write a feature on what it is like to live in those conditions.

Tanicia realized at the end of her assignment that going undercover and writing features or pieces in the language of fiction writing is more attractive than just publishing current event stories.  Tanicia hopes that one day she will work for the New Yorker.
