Sex Line Number Printed On Ochocinco Cereal Box

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Kroger stores in Cincinnati said cereal boxes named for Bengals star Chad Ochocinco are being pulled due to a misprinted phone number leading to a sex line.

Store managers said the Ochocinco cereal was supposed to bear the number 1-888-HELP-FTC, which connects to Feed the Children, the charity the cereal is supporting, but customers who attempted to call the number listed on the box, 1-800-HELP-FTC, were instead connected with a phone sex line, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported Thursday." UPI

Chad Ochocinco is a colorful and controversial football player; born Chad Javon Johnson he changed his surname to Ochocinco to garner publicity. But I doubt he had anything to do with the phone sex line zaniness.

With untold number of free online sex sites and chat lines, I`m surprised to discover that there are still phone sex lines. I thought phone sex lines were as obsolete as VCR`s and analog TV`s.

If you bought a box of Ochocinco cereal with the incorrect phone number don`t let your kids call the number on the box and don`t let them open it - it`s a collector`s item.

It takes a gigantic ego to let a company name a cereal after you, but at least the proceeds go to a charity. I never cared much for Ochocinco, but maybe his cereal tastes good.
