Brian Bradley, 14, Has YouTube Hit Song: Stop Looking At My Moms

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A 14-year-old New Yorker has created a YouTube hit with his rap song calling for men to stop ogling his mother.

Brian Bradley, 14, who performs under the name The Astronomical Kid, said his music video for `Stop Looking at My Moms` has nearly 200,000 views on YouTube, the New York Daily News reported Thursday.

Bradley said the song`s lyrics, which include `Just `cause I`m a shorty, don`t think I won`t do you no harm -- stop looking at my moms,` are inspired by real life. UPI

Some of the greatest songwriters, including Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, often use colloquial language in their lyrics, usually while speaking in the voice the common man.

But too many rappers use profanity in their grammar-impaired lyrics and they speak in the voice of thugs and pimps.

Brian Bradley may be only 14, but he should have learned in school not to use a triple negative.

I applaud Brian for treating hims mother with respect; I wish him good luck.

I`m no playa, but I ai`nt lying, ain`t nobody gonna stop me from ogling Brian`s moms, she`s a hottie.
