By Rocco Loosbrock

Its summer time and everyone is looking for something totally new, fun, delicious and exciting to do with their ribs besides the same old, predictably, typical and conventional slathered in BBQ sauce and tossed on the grill.

Check this out and you are absolutely guaranteed to blow the mind, taste buds and socks right off of all of your guests, who will enthusiastically be talking with a smile on their face about this particular meal for years and even decades to come!

6 1/2 pounds pork baby back ribs

1 teaspoon dried thyme

2 teaspoons dried oregano

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 tablespoons salt

1 tablespoon ground black pepper

Sauce Ingredients:

1 teaspoon dry mustard

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar

1/2 cup steak sauce

3 tablespoons white wine

2 cloves crushed garlic

2 teaspoons ground black pepper

8 tablespoons plum sauce

12 ounce jar gourmet honey

3 tablespoons molasses

Set the ribs in a large pot with water and add the thyme, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Cover the pot and bring to a boil and allow to it simmer for 40 minutes.

Remove the pot from the heat and set aside until the grilling is ready to commence.

Now mix together the sauce ingredients and blend well.

Remove ribs from its liquid and generously brush both sides with the sauce.

Barbecue the ribs 8 inches from the coals for about 20 minutes or until brown and crisp.

Continue to baste frequently while grilling.

Serve the meal with remaining sauce on top and whatever side dishes you would enjoy.
