Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman of JKNPP Challenges Mr. Chidambaram, Union Home Minister
Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman of JKNPP and Member of National Integration Council today challenged Mr. Chidambaram, the Union Home Minister to spell out Kashmir "dispute` the terminology which Mr. Geelani picked up from Pak leaders and which was later adopted by Mr. Omar Abdullah
the last Chief Minister of Abdullah`s family last week.
Prof. Bhim Singh asked Mr. Chidambaram to tell the countrymen what he meant by instructing the team of interlocutors the other day that they should seek consultation with J&K parties on the political dispute of J&K.
Prof. Bhim Singh reminded the Union Home Minister who is an efficient lawyer that "dispute` is always between two and more parties. Union Home Minister should spell out the dispute and the parties to the
dispute. The Panthers Party Chief described it unfortunate that a Union Home Minister has entered a prohibited area and taken up the cause of so-called Kashmir dispute with a soul purpose to bailout the
Chief Minister from a seditious offence who dared declare J&K not integral part of India sending a shock wave through out the country. If Nehru were alive, Omar Abdullah would have gone to Kotbhalwal Central Jail. Prof. Bhim Singh braved Mrs. Sonia Gandhi for rebutting J&K Chief Minister when she declared publicly that J&K is integral part of India.
Prof. Bhim Singh appealed the students, youth and trade unions to launch Omar Abdullah Go Go " movement in the same spirit as National Conference had launched "Kashmir Quit Movement` against the Dogras in 1946.
Prof. Bhim Singh urged Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh to handle J&K affairs with in PMO and keep out other ministers who have yet to learn a ABC of J&K.
