The 5th issue of the print quarterly Recovering the Self " a journal of hope and healing (Volume II. No. 4) is now in print and available for sale online at Amazon. This issue introduces the special feature article category with the first feature written by Kat Fasano-Nicotera, an inspiring article of her recovery journey and the role of art therapy in her recovery from a difficult life.


Other entries are from both regular writers and new contributors. Janet Grace Riehl pays tribute to her father Erwin A. Thompson who turns 95 next year, and is remembered lovingly as a tough old bird ". Jay S. Levy answers questions about homelessness in America and the issues related to providing them with shelter and treatment. David J. Roberts shares his thoughts on loss, grief, and healing.


In the travel section, Victor Scerri takes readers to Japan, showing glimpses of Japanese culture. Dr. Daniel Tomasulo has started writing a column Tell Me More wherein he answers to questions about overcoming personal issues and growing through self-improvement.
