Kevin Bar, Producer of Feature Film "Transatlantic Coffee" Chats With Judyth Piazza

While at university, a nationally aired documentary  Kevin directed caught the attention of writer/director Ron  Beck  who was moving back to Indiana to film his feature comedy , `The Mini.`  He hired Kevin as producer throughout the film`s completion, and after multiple festival awards, The Mini was releasesed nationwide this past summer through Blockbuster and VOD  to some critical acclaim from OK Magazine, AMC, and ReelTalkReviews.  A few months later Kevin was hired by Erik Carlson as producer for the upcoming feature `Transatlantic Coffee,` a NYC film and production with a crew and cast of over 50 people.  

Kevin  currently works with  MTV International in New York.  He`s worked on the Int`l production teams of the some of the biggest events of the year, and is now involved with the news operations for Int`l.  He was recently working in London, managering operations for a world wide  news show.
Aside from MTV, he`s worked as a producer/shooter for the  music site  Uncensored Interivew, and he continues to write screenplays.    Currenlty, an  action-adventure script he wrote is now in development at Nickelodeon.

A classic tale of boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl .only the boy, Alex Howard (Kevin Pinassi) is a 41 year old clown, the girl, Mandie Birch (Rachel Marie Lewis)  an underage stripper from London. Haunted by the memory of a mysterious woman, titillated by the surroundings of 2001 New York City, and enthralled by the emergence of Mandie into his life, Alex struggles to follow the advice of his best friend, Ronnie (Marcel Torres) and more importantly, his heart to yield his desires and do what is seemingly right.

                Written and directed by Erik Peter Carlson, Transatlantic Coffee is a story of lust, love, loss, yearning, and ultimately confusion amidst a city in the shadows of tragedy.
