Video: YouTube Superstar Maru The Cat
"We all have that `happy place` we go to, literally or figuratively, that gives us comfort in times of stress: a sunny beach, the open road, a mountain cabin. Or, in the case of Maru the cat, a cardboard box - any box, any size, any shape.
Maru is enjoying worldwide fame, thanks to his inability to resist the siren song of the cardboard box ... and his owner`s ability to spend vast amounts of time videotaping Maru squeezing, jumping and diving into various household containers. Think fetching sticks and slippers is clever? Watch and learn, dogs."
There are millions of videos on YouTube, and every last one of them is more entertaining than "Burlesque" Christina Aguilera`s new movie. Maru the Cat has posted dozens of videos on YouTube, and Christina should watch them to learn about stage presence and acting ability.
Those of us who own cats know that they love boxes as much as Oprah Winfrey craves bon bons. Whenever I buy merchandise that comes in a box, I save the box for the enjoyment of my cats. My cats will spend hours jumping in and out of the box, and when they are exhausted from their play they will sleep in the box.
Resist the temptation to see Christina Aguilera`s abominable flick, and spend a few minutes watching the delightful antics of Maru the Cat.
