Black Friday Is For Your Grandma! Join The Cyber Monday Madness
"Cyber Monday is a marketing term for the Monday immediately following Black Friday, the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States. The term made its debut on November 28, 2005 in a Shop.org press release entitled `Cyber Monday` Quickly Becoming One of the Biggest Online Shopping Days of the Year`.
Black Friday is so old school, the hip and the happening don`t brave the cold weather, the frenzied shoppers, the crazy drivers struggling to find a parking space within a mile of the store entrance, and the wino department store Santas.
Cyber Monday is when the digital generation logs on in the comfort and convenience of their homes to shop online for Christmas presents.
The chasm between Black Friday shoppers and Cyber Monday enthusiasts is deep and wide. I wouldn`t consider a serious relationship with an analog lady who feels a compelling need to do her Christmas shopping at a department store.
Cyber Monday is now a worldwide phenomenon, don`t be left out in the cold (literally and figuratively). Join the digital revolution and say goodbye to psychotic shoppers and grumpy salespersons.
