Grinch Burglar Steals Family's Beloved Teacup Yorkshire Terrier
"A Mesquite family is off to a bad start to the holiday season after burglars stole its dog and all of its gifts over the weekend.
Thieves broke into the Rusaw family`s apartment at Tri Pointe Square and stole a teacup Yorkshire terrier named Candy, wrapped Christmas gifts, electronics and jewelry.
Most of the stolen gifts belonged to 13-year-old Cameron Rusaw. But Cameron, who was too upset to go to school Monday, said he misses his dog more than anything.
`I`m not worried about any gifts," he said. `I just want my dog back.`"
The Rusaw family live in a humble apartment with Cameron their 13-year old son and their tiny pooch named Candy. They had a few gifts underneath their artificial 4-foot Christmas tree, and a few DVD`s for entertainment on chilly winter nights.
But this weekend the Rusaw family came home to find their TV, DVD collection, Xmas gifts and their beloved pooch missing. The family is sad that their material possessions were stolen, but they are devastated over the loss of Candy.
The Rusaw family faces a very bleak Christmas without Candy. I appeal to the heartless burglar to return the doggie. If anyone sees the 2-year-old teacup Yorkshire terrier roaming the streets of Mesquite, please contact the police.
