Dude Proposes With Elaborate 3,000 Lights Show

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Pennsylvania man proposed to his girlfriend with an elaborate Christmas light show ending with the words spelled out on his parents` roof.

"Tim Harff, 24, said he created a computer choreographed light show to Edwin McCain`s `I`ll be,` the couple`s special song, and took girlfriend Missy Heck, 22, up in the bucket of a 100-foot ladder truck Thursday to see the show, which concluded with the words `Will you marry me` spelled out in lights, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Friday."

A man who is secure and confident won`t make a Hollywood production out of his proposal, he will simply treat his girlfriend to a romantic dinner and ask her if she wants to marry him.

This dude doesn`t even own his own home, he had to use the roof of his parent`s home to stage his over-the-top stunt. I bet the neighbors weren`t too thrilled with a bunch of strangers loitering to watch this silly spectacle.

Most marriages end in divorce, and two or three years from now when this happy couple breaks up, will Harff stage a light show on the roof of his mobile home which concludes with the words "We`re Divorced?"

An engagement proposal should be a dignified and romantic affair, nobody would call this spectacle dignified or romantic.
