Newt Gingrich Offers Excellent Advice To Sarah Palin: Slow Down!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich has some advice for former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin: `Slow Down.`

The Georgia Republican made the comment on Tuesday, saying `I think that she has got to slow down and be more careful and think through what she`s saying and how she`s saying it.`

A new USAToday/ Gallup poll puts Palin`s favorable rating at 38 percent following her reaction to the shooting in Tucson, her lowest since she entered the national stage."

Very few politicians can speak extemporaneously and intelligently on any subject, even Obama who is praised for his wit an eloquence rarely speaks without the aid of his teleprompter.

An effective extemporaneous speaker must be intelligent and have a vast well of knowledge and wisdom that he can draw from.

It would behoove Sarah Palin who is neither intelligent nor well-educated to carefully measure every word she speaks.

Unfortunately, the former governor of Arkansas likes to ramble on about every subject, and she usually manages to reveal the vast expanse of her ignorance.

Newt Gingrich is offering Sarah Palin self-serving but nevertheless good advice: Slow Down! Gingrich is considering running for president in 2012, naturally he would want his chief rival to slow down.

Palin doesn`t think before she speaks, or maybe she does think before she speaks, which is even scarier. In any event, Palin needs to slow down, she doesn`t have to be in the news every day. Frankly, Americans are sick and tired of Palin, as evidenced by her horrendous approval ratings.

The former beauty queen has been criticized by both Republicans and Democrats for her Facebook video response to the Tucson massacre. Palin gave the impression that she thought that the real tragedy was how she was vilified by the press. Now would be the perfect time for Palin to slow down.
