Will Frank The Cross-Eyed Jaguarundi Become A Celebrity?

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Hot on the heels of cross-eyed opossum Heidi`s smash success at the Leipzig Zoo, a nearby animal park in eastern Germany has been preparing its own cross-eyed creature for possible celebrity.

Meet Frank the jaguarundi, a 14-year-old wild cat from the Tiergarten Delitzsch in eastern Germany, who has his own pair of crossed eyes.

`I think many people probably just come (to the zoo) to see him,` zoo head Katrin Ernst told Reuters. `They stand at his enclosure and call his name. ... I can hear here it from my office nearby.`
Jaguarundis are a type of puma native to North and South America.

Heidi the cross-eyed opossum is enjoying massive popularity, she has a Facebook fan page, and she makes personal appearances.

I predict that Frank the cross-eyed jaguarundi won`t equal Heidi`s success, there`s not that many folks who know what a jaguarundi is, and even fewer who can pronounce the word.

Maybe the zoo should change Frank`s name to "Romeo", and make up a fake bio depicting him as a stud.

I`m still waiting for a cross-eyed hottie to make it big in Hollywood. Who wouldn`t be intrigued by a cross-eyed beautiful woman -- regardless where she is looking, you can imagine she`s staring straight at you!
