Judyth Piazza: The Italian American Oprah Winfrey of Radio and Internet

Judyth Piazza: The Italian American Oprah Winfrey of Radio and Internet

By Robert Paul Reyes

"As a young girl, Judyth Piazza dreamt of becoming a professional writer. She would play with her father`s old Polaroid camera and fedora hat, imagining that she was an ace reporter. She enjoyed terrorizing her neighbors with no-so-optional subscriptions to the Piazza News Day, of which the then-fourth grader was Chief Editor. Piazza recalls, When most little girls were asking their parents for Barbie and Ken dolls for Christmas, I was asking my parents for Peter Parker and Clarke Kent dolls. Even as a little girl I knew super heroes and Barbies were not real, but super writers were." -From official Judyth Piazza Web site

As a young boy I dreamt of becoming a surgeon.  I would kidnap my sister`s Barbie and Ken dolls, and I would perform unspeakable medical experiments on them. If my experiments had ever come to light, I would be writing from a mental asylum and not from my home.

Most people`s childhood dreams don`t come to fruition, but thank goodness that Judyth Piazza grew up to be a successful writer, editor and radio personality.

It was my good fortune to become acquainted with this gifted lady about three years ago. Judyth knows how to inspire and cajole writers to bring out the best in them. Before I met Judyth I was writing about 5 to 7 essays per week, I now write at least 21 per week.

Judyth`s presence is all over the Web, but if you logon to theSop.Org you can access her radio program and read the articles of writers who have been tutored and encouraged by her.

Judyth is the Oprah Winfrey of the radio, she`s interviewed a gazillion and one celebs, writers and persons of influence. You ain`t nobody until Judyth has interviewed you on her radio program!
