Sarah Palin Can't Bring Herself To Praise Obama For His Victory In Killing Osama

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin slammed President Obama Wednesday, questioning his decision to not release a photo of Osama bin Laden corpse.

"Show the photos as a warning to others seeking America`s destruction," Mr. Palin posted on Twitter shortly after the president revealed his final decision. "No pussy-footing around, no politicking, no drama; it`s part of the mission."

Ms. Palin, a potential Republican presidential candidate, praised Mr. Obama`s order to kill the terrorist leader earlier this week. The order and execution of covert operation won the president wide praise from both Democrats and Republicans"

After much thought and deliberation President Barack Obama approved the covert operation to kill the terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden. If the mission had failed Obama would have been perceived as another Jimmy Carter, and we would have had hell to pay with Pakistan for mocking their sovereignty.

The covert operation was textbook, no good guys were killed or injured and Osama bin Laden was finally killed. The American public erupted in cheers and patriotic slogans as soon as the president announced the wonderful news to the nation and to the world.

But the euphoria over the death of a mass killer was soon replaced by bickering from some Republicans like Sarah Palin. I agree with the former beauty queen that the photographs of Osama bin Laden`s corpse should be released. Osama doesn`t deserve any respect or consideration, and if some Muslims take exception to the release of the gruesome images, so what? It`s sheer folly to try to appease radical Muslims, who won`t be happy until America is destroyed.

But the controversy over the photographs of bin Laden shouldn`t tarnish the courage displayed by the commander-in-chief and the Navy Seals. Let`s not let minor issues distract us from celebrating a tremendous victory for Obama, the brave warriors who carried out the dangerous mission, and the American public.

Enough already about the changing narrative, and the photographs, Sarah Palin and her ilk should shut the hell up.
