Badminton Players Object To Rule Forcing Them To Wear Short Skirts

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A new rule that orders female badminton players to wear short skirts could be scrapped after objections from China, Indonesia and Scandanavian countries, a Malaysian official said Saturday.

The rule was earlier deferred after an outcry from players and officials."

It`s interesting that there was an outcry from players and officials over the short skirts policy, but evidently not a peep of protest from the fans.

The badminton players should man up and wear the shortest skirts they can find, in badminton as in any sport it`s all about pleasing the fans.

I don`t know jack about badminton, but if the players wore super-short skirts, I would quickly become a fan.

A spokesman for the Badminton World Federation said "aesthetic and stylish presentation of the players is certainly an important factor."

Amen, brother, Amen!
