Judyth Piazza chats with Master Chef Molly McCook on The American Perspective

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

This is what Bon Appetit Magazine raved while naming Ellerbe Fine Foods (in Fort Worth, Texas) among this year`s 10 Best New Restaurants in America:

"Ever wonder what it would be like to have a charming southern grandma who invited you over to her cozy little house for Sunday supper?" asked Bon Appetit.  "Ellerbe Fine Foods offers you the opportunity to enjoy a similar experience.  And with apologies to all you southerners, the upscale country cooking is probably much better than grandma`s."

To that end, please allow me to introduce you to acclaimed chef Molly McCook, co-owner and executive chef at the award-winning farm-to-table restaurant Ellerbe Fine Foods

Trained in sustainable dining practices in some of the country`s finest restaurants (namely Luques under Chef Suzanne Goin - Stars under Amaryll Schwertner - Gary Danko), Molly also earned the Danielle Carlisle Award for excellence in culinary studies as a student at the California Culinary Academy.

Opening in June 2009, Ellerbe Fine Foods quickly garnered mass acclaim from visitors and critical acclaim from food critics and editors across the United States. Ellerbe was one of Texas Monthly`s top ten best new restaurants in 2009; Metropolis Magazine`s "Great Food Places" of 2010; D Magazine`s choice for best new eclectic restaurant in 2009, just to name a few of the accolades.
