Pink Taco Restaurant Paints Donkey Pink! PETA Outraged!

"A Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles has pledged not to use animals in promotions after it drew criticism for painting a donkey pink on a hot day.

The Pink Taco restaurant was subject to criticism from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and the Companion Animal Protection Society after an event in which it painted a donkey pink and put it on display during hot weather last week, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday."

It`s not exactly a brilliant idea to have a donkey standing outside a restaurant, the patrons will track donkey crap into the dining establishment. Pink Taco isn`t a gourmet restaurant, but that doesn`t mean anyone should have to put up with the stench of donkey feces. But I guess if you eat in a restaurant named after female genitalia you might put with any toxic smell.

It is inhumane to paint a donkey and have him stand outside a restaurant for hours on a hot day. The owners of this dive should be charged with cruelty to animals, and their business permit should be revoked.

Anybody dining at this restaurant is condoning cruelty to animals. PETA should protest outside the Pink Taco until it goes out of business.

Zero tolerance for animal abuse.
