Fearless Teacup Poodle Chases Cowardly Black Bear Up A Tree!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Washington state man said his teacup poodle chased an approximately 200-pound black bear up a tree in his back yard.

Robert Carroll of the Rose Hill neighborhood in Kirkland said he ran outside when his 21-year-old daughter shouted there was a bear in the back yard about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and he watched as the family poodle, Shmoopy, charged the bruin and chased it up a tree, the Kirkland Reporter reported Wednesday."

When I walk my two big dogs (German Shepard/Pit Bull and a Chow/Lab) I feel like the pimp of my neighborhood. Any pedestrians that I encounter flash us a smile, and give us a wide berth.

It almost never fails that on my daily walk with my dogs, a tiny pooch will run straight at us and bark like crazy. Tiny dogs aren`t intimidated by me or my canine posse, they make our lives miserable.

I`m not surprised that a teacup poodle chased a black bear up a tree, tiny dogs are fearless. Miniature doggies aren`t all bark and no bite, that little monster probably tried to take a bite out of the bear`s rear end.

Fortunately, the bear survived his encounter  with the little creature from hell.
