Video: CNN Miracle! Lost Cat Returns While Grieving Owner Is Being Interviewed

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A tornado ripped through Alabama over a month ago, and although Judy Pugh lost most everything she owned, she didn`t care about any of it except for her three cats.

Two of them came back, but one of her cats, Katie, her companion for over 10 years, was still missing. Then suddenly, while she was being interviewed by CNN and showing the reporter her torn up home, Katie, came walking up to her."

A tornado is a malevolent force of nature, capriciously and wantonly destroying property, and injuring and killing people. Often overlooked are the many pets who are swept away or run away during a tornado.

I have homeowner`s insurance, and if my house is destroyed by a tornado, earthquake or fire my house and all of my material possessions will be replaced.

But if I lost my cat or one of my dogs I would be inconsolable, there is simply no way to replace a long-time canine or feline companion.

I can feel Judy`s relief and joy at the miracle that took place while she was being interviewed by a reporter. Katie,as cats are wont to do, casually walked to her owner, while the cameras were rolling. If the same thing had happened to me, I would have cried like a schoolgirl.

What a heartwarming story! In the midst of tragedy there is a glimmer of hope for all the victims of the tornados.
