Al Gore: Best Way To Tackle Global Warming Is By Stabilizing World Population
"The global warming debate has always been a touchy one for both sides, and when the world`s top global warming activist is talking about the size of population and how that contributes to the choices societies make, it might be worth taking note.
In an appearance Monday in New York City, former Vice President Al Gore, prominently known for his climate change activism, took on the subject of population size and the role of society in controlling it to reduce pollution."

There is a strong consensus in the scientific and intellectual communities that global surface temperatures have increased in the last few decades, and that the disturbing trend is caused mainly by greenhouse gases. In other words global warming is man-made, and not a natural phenomenon.
Al Gore has raised consciousness about climate change throughout the world, but it`s only recently that he has dealt with the crux of the problem: There`s simply too many damn people in this world.
If everyone is America lessened their carbon footprint by recycling, and walking or taking a bike to work, the effect on global warming would be negligible as long as human beings continue to breed like rats.
America must set an example by refusing to give any foreign aid to countries that don`t practice birth control, and have taken no steps to stabilize their population. It may appear that we are doing the right thing by helping a third world country that can`t feed its own population, but in the long run we are doing them harm. These poverty-stricken nations won`t tackle the problem of overpopulation if we continue to bail them out.
The United States must follow China`s sterling example by limiting the number of children that a couple can have. A couple should be limited to two or at the most three children, if they want more kids they should be forced to adopt. Needless to say tax credits for children is not a good idea, after the second child parents should be penalized by the IRS, not rewarded. In light of global warming it`s irresponsible and indeed criminal for a couple to have large families.
Al Gore may be the most boring speaker in the world, and he contributes to global warming with all his hot air, but we would be well-advised to listen to him when he gets to the heart of the matter about climate change.
