Book Review Of Dirty Sanchez Nation By Evan Marz

By Robert Paul Reyes

Evan Marz is a stand-up comedian and author who has recently published a book whose title (Dirty Sanchez Nation: The Ultimate Illustrated Dicktionary Of Obscene Sex Terms), would indicate that it has a niche audience. But I think that this perverse little gem will find a wide audience, who doesn`t appreciate raunchy humor? Although I wouldn`t go as far as Marz and claim it`s a "coffee table tome." You may find it in a coffee table in a bordello, but not in the coffee table in a typical household.

marzI was born and raised in the cosmopolitan San Francisco Bay Area, and I consider myself a man of the world. In the 70`s it was a big thrill for a teenager to find a copy of his dad`s Playboy, but when I was in high school I would cut class and go to strip joints. I thought I was familiar with every obscene sex term, reading "Dirty Sanchez" has been a real education.

I couldn`t even find some of the hilarious sex terms Marz listed in urbandictionay. com, and unlike the infamous Web site every wild sex term has an illustration by Steve Buddy.

"Steve Buddy" sounds like a pseudonym, hey buddy you shouldn`t be ashamed to be associated with with such an entertaining and educational endeavor.

When I was in the third grade I had a friend who was called "Dirty Mel", because he had a dirty mouth and claimed to be an expert on all things sexual. I asked him where babies came from, and he told me that when women go to the toilet sometimes a baby pops out instead of a turd. Marz is the "Dirty Mel" of our generation, the only difference is that he isn`t full of poop.

Have you ever been at a party and everybody (but you) busts out laughing when some joker uses a dirty sex term? You feel like a philistine because you weren`t familiar with the phrase, and your evening is ruined. This humiliating scenario will never happen to you again if you buy a copy of "Dirty Sanchez."

The SOP is a family-oriented Web site and I can`t describe any of the material in Marz`s book, but take my word for it, it`s good reading. "Dirty Sanchez" is for adults only, don`t let your kids get their dirty little hands on it, they may grow up to be a Marz or a Reyes.
