Punergathan Movement Shall Flood from 'Mandian and Kandian'
Addressing the first Press conference of the Implementation Committee (PGIC) for Reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir its president Shri Bansi Lal Sharma advocate, JKNPP State General Secretary Ms Anita Thakur, Co-ordination Secretary Shri Jagdev Singh the following press statement.
The Implementation Committee (PGIC) for Reorganization of J&K after completing two weeks in carrying the message for the Punergathan for Jammu and Kashmir in two districts; Rural Jammu and Samba, it can be said that the people, particularly students, Youth and farmers are highly attracted towards the new formula presented by the Chairman, Prof. Bhim Singh to re-organize Jammu and Kashmir on the basis of cultural, geographical and historical identity as its existed before 1846 when Treaty of Amritsar was signed.
2. Panthers Party movement in this regard to close the chapter of unnatural union of Jammu and Kashmir and establish three separate legislative, administrative and financial units having separate legislature and budgets for Ladakh, Kashmir Valley and Dogra Pradesh is the need for the development of each region and strengthening the communal harmony and regional co-operation.
3. The Implementation Committee with the co-operation of district president Jammu rural S. Hari Singh and district president Samba Shri Shiv Charan Singh (retd. ZEO) succeeding contacting over 5000 persons in the visually or collectively. More than 500 students, youth, farmers join the PGIC committee. More than 50 units PGIC belonging to students, youth, farmers, women and ex-servicemen have been constituted in the Mandies and Kandies which have remained neglect by the leadership and the government for 60 years.
4. The new leadership is merging in the historical Mandies and deserted Kandies in Jammu and Samba districts which shall carry on the movement for Reorganization for Jammu and Kashmir to its logical and so that people of Dogra Pradesh (Poonch to Kishtiwar and Banihal to Kathua) shall live with honour, dignity and equality with other citizens of the country no more slavery, no more serfdom, no more exploitation of the farmers, employees, or youth, no more dynasty and no more domination of Kashmir rulers ".
5. This message of the chairman has gone to every mind and soul in the Mandies and Kandies. The PGIC shall take up Jammu urban district from 25th of this month.
