By SOP newswire2

Australian pop star and current X-Factor Australia judge Guy Sebastian showed his supportto a worthy cause at the ending the Somaly Mam Foundation launch at the SLS Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.on July 23. Sebastian walked the red carpet and mingled with guests including host AnnaLynne McCord (90210, Nip/Tuck)to raise awareness and money for victims of s(e)x trafficking.

The Aussie pop star recently set his sights on the U.S. and introduced the catchy single `Who`s That Girl` featuring Eve,which caught the attention of Clear Channel`s mega music site iheartradio.com and named Sebastian an `Artist To Watch`this month.

Now available on iTunesin the U.S., Sebastian`s single is currently being promoted in various radio formats including Top 40, Hot AC and Rhythmic AC. On the home front, the track was the highest-selling Australian artist single of 2010 and the country`s third highest-selling single of all time, going four times platinum. It also reached #1 on the New Zealand singles chart.

While U.S. audiences gear up for the American debut of Simon Cowell`s highly-anticipated X-Factor talent competition this fall, Sebastian will be appearing for the second season as a judge on the Australian version.

While the R&B crooner`s single and his upcoming EP are the first taste most Americans are getting of his music, the singer has an impressive musical history, working with numerous legends and contemporary stars including Robin Thicke, Brian McKnight, Mya, John Mayer and Jordin Sparks on his two previous albums Beautiful Life and LikeIt Like That. Earlier this year, Guy performed for the iconic Oprah Winfrey during her ultimate Australian Adventure.
