Would You Offer A $5,000 Reward If Your Cat Ran Away?
"A Canadian woman says she is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who can find her missing cat Kitty.
Barbara Cook, a teacher in Fort St. John, said her 2-year-old, gray-and-white cat disappeared July 30 while being cared for by Cook`s mother in Kelowna while Cook was on vacation."
I love my cat and my two dogs, but if one of my pets ran away from home I wouldn`t offer a $5,000 reward. If Ebony goes missing I will post flyers around my neighborhood, and maybe offer a $100 reward. But I`m got going to go bankrupt trying to find a silly cat who left a home where she was treated like royalty.
It`s never a good idea to give your cat a generic name like "Kitty." If a kind neighbor tries to find Cook`s feline by calling out "Kitty", every cat in the vicinity will respond.
If someone finds Kitty, I hope he will be satisfied with a hundreds bucks, and return the rest of the reward to Cook. She will probably need that money to pamper the spoiled cat.
