UK: Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' Best-Selling Album Of 21st Century

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Amy Winehouse`s Back to Black album has become the biggest-selling album in the UK in the 21st Century, the Official Charts Company has revealed.

Amy Winehouse`s personal life was marked by debauchery, drugs, and drink, but her two albums were works of brilliance.

Her second album "Back To Black" rose to the top of the charts after her death, and it has now sold 3.26 million.

"Amy Winehouse`s masterwork "Back to Black" has now overtaken sales of James Blunt`s mediocre 2005 release "Back to Bedlam."

James Blunt is the UK`s version of Michael Bolton, his music is anathema to any serious music lover.

Blunt is best known for his 2005 single "You`re Beautiful", one of the worst songs ever recorded. If you like Debbie Boone`s "You Light Up My Life", Blunt`s execrable song will be right up your alley.

Thank goodness that order has been restored to the universe, now that Amy`s "Back to Black" is the best selling album of the 21st century in the UK.
