McKenna Faith: A Name To Remember!

By Mimi Amaral

Merely 16, McKenna Faith is well on her way to accomplishing her life`s dream.  She sings with emotional depth, writes her own songs and plays the guitar. When asked she expressed her inspirations for her music are, "Miranda Lambert, her family, friends and God."  She would also be honored to open up for Miranda, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, and Dolly Parton.

From age seven McKenna knew she wanted to sing, "I`ve always known my purpose in life is to sing; I need to keep the Faith, work hard, and I will achieve it."  Since then she has pursued her passion for music and has recorded at Studio C in Willits, California, Laughing Coyote Studios in Redwood Valley, California, Russian River Records, and she has recorded her debut album of 10 original songs `Sugar & Spice` in Nashville at Fun House Studio with producer Kim Copeland.

McKenna aspires to sing a duet with Dierks Bentley and Pete Stringfellow, would enjoy doing a T.V. show and movie, and she hopes to do a reality show in the near future.  Her mom, known as  `Momager,` has her daughter`s best interest in mind; they work very well together to make McKenna`s dreams a reality.  With all these accomplishments and aspirations, McKenna still finds time for school, family and friends.  Currently she has not been signed, however, I don`t think it will be long before the right person hears her music, recognizes her talent, and adds her to their label.

In December McKenna will debut her single "No Guts No Glory", in Hawaii at Pearl Harbor for the 70th Anniversary of the event. She was asked by Mike Morrel and Curtis Mitchell to perform her song and a song they wrote "It`s not my time to go," in honor of the late John Finn; who received a Medal of Honor for his actions during the attack on Pearl Harbor.  McKenna is excited, humbled, and honored to have been included in the musical line-up.

When asked to give advice to her fans about following their dreams she said, "Just get out there and do it because it`s better to have tried and failed then to have never tried at all." Remember this name "McKenna Faith," it won`t be long before her name will be on the lips of teens and her face on billboards everywhere.
