Outrage: 'Jersey Shore' Gets Tax Rebate From New Jersey

By Robert Paul Reyes

"New Jersey legislators are pitching a fit after the state`s Economic Development Authority approved a $420,000 tax rebate this week for the first season of MTV`s `Jersey Shore.`

`Jersey Shore` received the rebate retroactively for 2009 as part of a legislative program intended to drive business to the state by exempting a portion of filming expenses."

It`s one thing to encourage business to come to New Jersey, it`s quite another to put out the welcoming mat for a show that is the epitome of evil and stupidity. It`s an outrage that New Jersey taxpayers are subsidizing an abominable program that paints the residents of the Garden State in such a negative light.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has a well-deserved reputation for speaking bluntly, he should declare Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the `Jersey Shore` morons "persona non grata" in New Jersey.

A reality show featuring Satan, his nasty wife Nancy Grace, his mentally-deranged son Dr. Phil, and his promiscuous daughter Lindsay Lohan would be infinitely more edifying than "Jersey Shore."

What`s next? Will the Economic Development Authority hand out grants to crack houses and brothels?
