Judyth Piazza interviews Pamela Dahl, President Tri-County Tea Party Florida

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

On Friday, November 4th - 6th, 2011 the first Florida State Tea Party Convention, will be held in Daytona Beach at the Volusia County Ocean Center.

The Ocean Center will be the host convention center for conservative groups across Florida and surrounding states. The host hotel is the Hilton Hotel Resort, which is directly across the street from the convention center.

We have obtained special $99.00 rates if you mention the convention. The only entrance to the convention center is from the host hotel side, so attendees will be walking directly by the vendor booths in order to attend the four banquets, break out rooms and town hall events each day. Aside from the banquets, each having major speakers, and break out rooms with speakers, we are also hosting two major "type" Town Hall Events.

The first event will be with Senatorial Candidates, the second event will be for Presidential Candidates. More information regarding the Convention is available at the Convention Website at Please note that the website will be updated regularly when more speakers are confirmed along with Senatorial and Presidential Candidates. Booths can be set up Friday morning, and used through Sunday.

Security will be ongoing, and the building is locked during the evening. To see the floor plan at the Ocean Center, please go to Ocean Center floorplan.

People will be entering in on the hotel side to the East Concourse, then walk down the south concourse to the west concourse. The events will all take place in the arena. Booth space is on the south and west concourses. Breakout rooms are 101a through 104a.

To sign up for being a sponsor or receive more information, please e-mail Pam Dahl at or call 352/350-6046. Please note that everything is on a first come, first serve basis, and that Sponsorships can be purchased either by credit card or by check.
