Kenyans are in state of panic following a grenade attack that has resulted in one person dead with 18 others severely injured. The grenade explosion occurred at around 8:00 PM local time at the Capital`s OTC Bus Terminal.

According to police sources, it was a hand grenade that was used as it was seen being thrown from a moving vehicle. This comes less than 24 hours after another Russian F1 grenade exploded in a popular night club located in the nation`s capital injuring several people. Police officals have cordoned off the area as investigations continue.

The Country has been on a state of high alert since Kenyan forces entered into Somalia following recent terrorist attacks on Kenyan tourists. Police have issued a list of areas that people in Kenya need to avoid as a security measure.

In the Capital City of Nairobi, the areas to be avoided are: Bus Stations, Corner House, Burger Dome, Akamba Bus Terminal, River Road Area, Marble Arc and Amb(a)ssadeur.

In Mombasa which is one of the most popular tourist site are: Likoni Ferry, Bondeni, GPO and Mtwapa.
