Outrage! Herman Cain Receives Secret Service Protection!
"Herman Cain on Thursday became the first Republican presidential candidate to receive Secret Service protection.
Cain asked for the security and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and congressional leaders approved his request Thursday, Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan confirmed."
Herman Cain may be leading in some polls, but he`s not a legitimate presidential candidate. Cain received little scrutiny from the media when he entered the race, he was rightfully viewed as an oddball hawking his books and increasing his profile as a motivational speaker.
The Republicans are so desperate for an anti-Romney that they elevated Cain to the top of the polls, even though he makes Rick Perry seem like a deep thinker. Any candidate with first place status in the polls will be scrutinized and vetted by the press; it didn`t take much digging to ascertain that Cain is a misogynist buffoon. Cain may be adept at reaching up a woman`s skirt, but he is clueless when it comes to handling soft ball questions from the media.
It`s an outrage that taxpayers are paying for this joker to be protected by the Secret Service. The former CEO of Godfather`s Pizza is a multi-millionaire, and he should be paying for his own bodyguards. This huckster is using the democratic process to burnish his brand name, and we are paying for his protection! That`s an outrage!
Cain claims someone who purports to be a member of the KKK phoned in a threat to his campaign office in Georgia. The police should investigate, he may be lying to elicit sympathy from the electorate.
I don`t think the KKK has a problem with Cain, white supremacists feel comfortable with a black man who has a subservient attitude toward white people.
Republicans should accept the reality that Mitt Romney is their best bet to defeat President Barack Obama, and stop legitimizing clowns and morons like Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain.
