Honest (Crazy?) Man Gets To Keep $700 He Turned Over To Cops

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A California construction worker who turned in $700 cash he discovered while working on a project at a hospital has taken the money home, police said."

The average dude who finds a paper bag containing a stash of cash, without any identification, will imagine that he sees the words "From God to You" written on the bag.

I`ll be the first one to confess if I find a wad of cash with no identification, I will reason that the person who lost it is either a dunce or a criminal. I would immediately book a flight to Atlantic City, and live it up for at least one day.

But the honest man, whose name wasn`t released, turned in the money to the police. He probably figured that the money might have been dropped by a patient, and he will need that money to pay his hospital bills.

After the requisite 90-day waiting period to see if anyone claimed the money, the cops returned the loot to the honest construction worker.

Happy Thanksgiving honest dude!
