New Delhi: Pressure is mounting on Former Indian Police officer Kiran Bedi, who is also a close aide of anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazzare, as the Delhi court on Saturday ordered Delhi Crime Branch file an FIR (first Information report) against Bedi.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Bansal of the Delhi high court directed the crime Branch to file a case against her for allegedly cheating and misappropriating funds in agreement with foreign companies and other foundations.

"The application is disposed of with the direction to the DCP crime branch to register an FIR," the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate said.

A Delhi based lawyer, Devinder Singh Chauhan registered a petition against the key Kiran Bedi in which he alleged that she has "looted" various paramilitary forces and state police organizations in the name of imparting free computer training.

"Instead of imparting free training or distributing free computers, Kiran Bedi planned to collect Rs 20,000 per month per training centre from the kids of various cops. " he alleged.

Meanwhile, Kiran Bedi said to the Press Trust of India, "I am informed an FIR is registered against me. For me now nothing is a surprise! It only strengthens my resolve to do more."
