Grinch Steals Trailer Full Of Gifts For Poor Children

By Robert Paul Reyes

"The founder of a Florida non-profit said someone stole a trailer full of gifts that were meant to be delivered to disadvantaged children on Christmas Eve.

Stephanie Bowman, who founded One Heart for Women and Children two years ago in Orlando, Fla., to help disadvantaged mothers and children, said the trailer was filled with gifts for more than 500 families when it was taken during the weekend, the Orlando Sentinel reported Friday."

The holiday season brings out the best and the worst in people. Many good folks are moved by the Christmas spirit to give to the poor and the disadvantaged, and a few bad apples take advantage of this busy time of the year to scam and steal.

This Grinch stole a trailer of gifts that were meant to be delivered to hundreds of poor children on Christmas Eve. It`s evildoers who get all the attention, but I`m persuaded that for every Grinch there`s hundreds of good people. I hope that the decent citizens of Orlando will step up the the plate and donate gifts and toys to the One Heart for Women and Children charity.

Let`s all of us remember those less fortunate this holiday season, it`s a shame if even one family in this prosperous nation is hungry and forgotten this Christmas.

There must be a special place reserved in hell for those who steal from the poor and the needy; I hope the individual who stole the trailer will spend Christmas behind bars.
