Anna Hazare Ends One Day Fast, Threatens Long Agitation

New Delhi: Thousands of supporters of Indian anti corruption activist Anna Hazare on Sunday  thronged Jantar Mantar in the Indian Capital of Delhi as the activist observed  a day long fast against the weak anti corruption draft prepared by the government committee. 

"The 71 year old Indian activist who went on fast for the third come in this year also threatened to take the protest to  every Indian streets, if the anti corruption bill was not passed in the Indian parliament within a weak he will start a long agitation from the 27th of this month."

"All the parties can join the movement and make it larger. If the government will not pass the strong bill. We will, for sure, fill up the jails and the campaign far more large," he asserted. 

Arun Jaitely, senior member of Indian opposition party, Bhartiya Janta Party in a speech on Sunday, demanded that everybody is in the government should come under the purview of Lokpal. 

"Everyone in the government should come under the purview of Lokpal, We oppose the Prime Minister`s non-inclusion in the Lokpal bill," he said. 

Meanwhile, other opposition party, CPI General Secretary A. B. Bardhan has warned Team Anna for its rigid attitude. "You should not think that the 9-10 people of yours are the repository of all the wisdom. There is no dearth of scholars in a country of120 crore. Team Anna should also listen to others and have patience to listen to others," he said while speaking at Hazare`s day-long fast at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.` 

The Anti Crusader Anna Hazare day long fast this finished around 5p.m witnessed thousands of supporters from small kids to old age people. Shouting slogans and patriotic songs, everyone was demanding government should bring a strong Lokpal bill. 

Meanwhile, Indian Congress has accused Anna Hazare of insulting the Indian Parliament. They should have waited for the final shape of Lokpal Bill which would be passed by Parliament the congress spokesperson said here adding that Laws cannot be made at Jantar Mantar.
