Anonymous Donor Drops Diamonds In Salvation Army Kettle
"A mystery woman put a $2,000 diamond and sapphire ring, plus $50 for good measure, in a Salvation Army kettle in Miami, a spokeswoman for the charity said."
This anonymous donor has a kind heart but a soft head, anybody could have walked away with the Salvation Army kettle. If you are going to make a significant donation to the Salvation Army, it makes sense to personally deliver it to the Salvation Army headquarters.
We all know how much women love diamonds, but this lady`s compassion for the poor superseded her love for the valuable gems.
Not all of us can afford to give away diamonds, in these hard economic times many of us have hocked our diamonds and expensive watches. But all of us can afford to drop a few coins in a Salvation Army kettle.
Remember Christmas is about giving nor receiving, do what you can to help the poor and unemployed this holiday season.
