LA Little League Rejects Donation From A Strip Club! Do You Agree?

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Officials with a cash-strapped Los Angeles Little League said they turned down a $1,200 donation when they found out it came from a strip club.

Lennox Little League President Roberto Aguirre said the league is desperate for money to save its season, but officials decided to return a $1,200 donation when they learned it came from the Jet Strip Gentleman`s Club. UPI

Baseball little leagues are important to the well-being of a city, they teach team values to little kids and help keep them out of trouble.

A $1,200 donation is a sizeable sum for the league, but they did the right thing in turning down the money. The league is teaching its young charges that it`s wrong to accept a donation from a business that exploits women.

I believe that a strip club is a legitimate business, and it has every right to open its doors for anyone who wants to walk in, but that doesn`t mean that the little league should endorse it by accepting the donation.

I hope than one or more citizens of Los Angeles will step up to the plate and make up for the donation that was turned down.
