Alyssa Milano Becomes One of ABC's "Mistresses"

By Garrett Godwin

Alyssa Milano returns to ABC in one of the lead roles for the U.S. pilot remake of the BBC serial entitled Mistresses, about four female friends and their extramarital romances.  Alyssa will be playing a character named Savannah, a married attorney working nights with her handsome law partner.

Alyssa became a child star as Tony Danza`s daughter on Who`s The Boss? from 1984 to 1992, became a prime-time vixen on FOX`s Melrose Place for one season (1997-98) and continued to cast a spell on her fans for eight years as Phoebe Halliwell on Charmed (1998-2006).

And speaking of Charmed, Alyssa`s co-star Holly Marie Combs starred and produced a pilot for Mistresses with cable network Lifetime several years ago, but the pilot wasn`t picked up as a series.

ABC`s Mistresses is set to debut sometime next summer.
