Thieves Steal Parrot Who Loves To Sing Queen Songs

By Robert Paul Reyes

"The British owner of a stolen parrot said he hopes the thieves will bring the bird back once they`ve had enough of her singing the hits of Queen.

Malcolm Booth, 44, said the African Grey parrot named Chico was stolen from his Hattersley home last weekend, along with a PlayStation 3 game console, Britain`s The Sun reported Wednesday. He thinks the thieves won`t be too happy when they realize Chico loves to squawk out the lyrics to `Bohemian Rhapsody,` `We are the Champions` and `Killer Queen.`"

I love Queen and I could listen to their classic hits all day long -- but not sung by a parrot. The thieves are bound to get tired of listening to the parrot croon Queen songs, but it doesn`t follow that they will return the bird to the owner. They will probably let Chico fly free when they get sick and tired of his song stylings.

It`s a good thing Booth didn`t teach Chico to sing Justine Bieber`s greatest hits, the thieves would have flushed him down the toilet by now.

Booth says the crooks can keep the game console, he`s only interested in Chico, whom he considers a member of the family.

I hope that against all odds, the thieves return Chico to his grieving owner.
